Job Description

For our electronics design team in Nootdorp we are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer. In this position you are responsible for the electronics design of measurement, data acquisition and control products. You will be working on precision sensors and sensor interfaces. You will also work on control systems for the complex installation that are needed for soil investigation.

The position offers much freedom. You will be working independently on your tasks and (parts) of the projects. You will be working a small team with different nationalities. This team is, of course, part of a bigger department. You will cooperate with members from other teams. These can be mechanical, software or support engineers.

Your role

  • You develop electronic circuits that are used within complex installations for soil investigation;

  • You cooperate with colleagues to realize the printed circuit boards;

  • Your position includes the development of the embedded software. In this way you are involved in all aspects of the development.

Your track record

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and affinity with mechanics;

  • Demonstrated experience in analog design preferably for sensor interfaces and demonstrated experience with multilayer PCB design, signal integrity and EMC;

  • Experience with microcontrollers such as ARM, Microchip, etc.;

  • Experience with C and knowledge of C++;

  • Knowledge about communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN and Ethernet.
