Job Description

As a Principal Geotechnical Engineer you plan and manage technical aspects of challenging offshore projects. You initiate and guide the development and improvement of state-of-the-art technologies and calculation models. A varied role in which also your commercial and risk management skills will be utilised.

Your role

  • You oversee the acquisition and analyses of geodata and advise our clients in support of their offshore developments;

  • You supervise the geotechnical project teams including the review of client deliverables;

  • You guide development and training of geotechnical engineers by assessing technical aspects of projects and by guiding them though reporting, presentation or publication processes;

  • You identify new opportunities on a project level as well as company level and are involved in preparation of proposals.

What you bring along

  • You have a BSc or MSc degree in Geotechnical Engineering or relevant discipline;

  • You are in the possession of strong geotechnical expertise and have sound experience in the offshore industry;

  • You have excellent communication and language skills in English (written and spoken) and preferably Dutch;

  • You have a client focus attitude and entrepreneurial mindset;

  • You have experience in leading a team and creating the right team spirit;

  • You have a hands-on mentality, are organised and you easily interact with other people internally and externally;

  • You are an EU member or in the possession of an EU work permit.
