Job Description
Fugro are now looking for an Operations Manager to join our Land Survey team within the Instrumentation and Monitoring (IML) Service Line in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
As Operations Manager, you will fulfil a senior position with accountability for operational success. You will manage a team consisting of Surveyors, Survey Engineers and data processors provide the organizational structure and key communication to link the operational teams with the project delivery. You will report to the Service Line Manager of IML in KSA.

Job responsibilities:
Working with internal teams to communicate operational requirements for future projects.
Review future project staff resourcing needs, recruit and manage staff training/competency.
Review awarded scopes of work to define equipment and manpower mobilisation requirements.
Oversee Survey crews/ equipment's/ Vehicles changes and crew movements.
Track, monitor and improve department KPI’s for actual v budgeted mobilisations and downtime of resources.
Support Land Survey teams to promote a proactive HSEQ culture, review operational management of change requests, support incident investigations and close out if required.
Provide technical advice and input and allocate technical expertise to answer or solve survey related questions or problems within the division.
Participate in contract required, technical or project related meetings, internally and externally.
Periodically provide temporarily cover for field senior surveyors (base load and call-off) when work load or circumstances require so.
Conduct site visits in a pre-tender or post-award stage.
Provide cover for the Service Line Manager during his absence.
Provide assistance and support in the development of tenders, proposals and quotations.
You bring (qualifications & experience)
BSc. or higher in Geomatics or Surveying or survey related education with sufficient associated experience.
Confident with excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
Experience in different geomatics solutions, equipment and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written skills both internally and with Client (English is essential, other dialects such as Arabic language shall be advantageous).
Must be highly organized and show suitable experience with operational and project tracking/planning.
You would like to use your technical experience to organize and manage efficient Land Survey operations.
You would like accountability for staff resourcing, training and competency.
You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
You are highly organized and enjoy planning, tracking and managing.
