Job Description

Our team of experienced geotechnical engineers and earth scientists specializes in ground engineering and offers comprehensive geophysical survey services and site characterization to ensure the success of your project.
The Associate Systems Engineer supports the setup, operation, calibration, and maintenance of airborne remote sensing systems used for aerial survey missions. This role works closely with the Senior Engineer, Sensor Operators, and Operations to ensure sensor performance, data quality, and safe integration with aircraft systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and removal of airborne sensors.
Support mobilization, field operations, and mission planning
Support integration of sensors with aircraft systems.
Perform pre-flight and post-flight equipment inspections.
Assist with routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibrations.
Maintain technical records and documentation.
Complete assignments in a timely and effective manner within the project budget and schedule
Use prescribed methods to perform tasks under the supervision of an experienced engineer
Develop and suggest additional research needs and/or consulting services
Document work performed, lessons learned, research findings, and present findings to current stakeholders
Stay abreast of current professional practices, periodicals, and technological advancements
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. An bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Aviation Technology, or related field is preferred.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate is preferred.
Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in surveying, aerial mapping, remote sensing or closely related field.
Basic understanding of electronics, optics, GNSS/IMU systems, and aerial data acquisition.
Proficiency with Windows systems and other technical tools.
Ability to work in dynamic airborne aviation operations
Hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
Currently hold or have ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel requirements.
Travel up to 50% is required for this role.
