Fugro is looking for a dynamic Head of Content Marketing and Public Relations to lead our brand presence across markets and industries. You will be part of Fugro’s global Brand, Marketing & Communications team, working closely with colleagues across content, digital, PR and regional marketing.

Your role

Content Strategy and Development

  • Lead the creation of a unified brand narrative and global content strategy

  • Oversee development and execution of integrated campaigns across multiple channels

  • Ensure content aligns with Fugro’s value propositions and supports business goals

Public Relations

  • Manage executive-level public relations and corporate storytelling

  • Strengthen Fugro’s visibility and reputation through strategic media engagement

  • Monitor industry trends and proactively manage reputational risks

Campaign Planning and Performance

  • Drive global campaign planning and track performance using key performance indicators

  • Use analytics to optimise content effectiveness and lead generation

  • Collaborate with digital marketing to ensure funnel optimisation and customer relationship management integration

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with business leaders to identify impactful stories and campaign opportunities

  • Align messaging across global and regional teams

  • Foster internal ambassadors and encourage cross-functional collaboration

Marketing Enablement

  • Contribute to the development of Fugro’s marketing playbook

  • Support training and enablement initiatives across business and service lines

  • Promote best practices in content marketing and public relations

  • Execute agile marketing workflows by running short, iterative sprints that involve testing campaign ideas, measuring performance (e.g., ROI, MQLs), and continuously optimising based on data and customer feedback to deliver adaptive, customer-focused and results-driven marketing.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team across content marketing and public relations

  • Provide strategic direction and daily guidance to ensure brand and business alignment

  • Support team development through coaching, feedback and training

  • Collaborate with other heads within Brand, Marketing and Communications to ensure seamless integration and shared ownership of campaigns

What you bring along

Experience and Knowledge

  • Master’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field

  • Experience in content marketing, public relations or communications

  • Proven experience in a leadership role

  • Fluent in Dutch and English

  • Able to align marketing with business goals

  • Experienced in international environments and leading teams

  • Business to Business experience essential

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong content planning skills

  • Experienced in managing campaigns

  • Expert in public relations and corporate communications

  • Skilled in using data to guide marketing decisions

  • Good at working with stakeholders

  • Able to lead and develop teams

  • Comfortable with digital tools and platforms

  • Excellent at brand storytelling

  • Clear and confident communicator

  • Familiar with agile marketing methods
