Job Description

Are you a master storyteller with a passion for digital innovation? Fugro is seeking a dynamic Content Marketing Manager to lead the creation of high-impact, audience-centric content that elevates our global brand. In this senior role, you will blend creativity with cutting-edge digital tools, SEO, social media, AI optimisation and analytics, to craft compelling narratives that drive engagement and commercial growth. You will collaborate with PR experts, digital marketers and regional teams to deliver content that resonates locally while maintaining a unified global voice.

Reporting to the Head of Content Marketing & PR, you will be at the heart of our integrated Brand, Marketing & Communications function, working cross-functionally to align content with business goals and ensure consistent messaging across channels. You will partner with internal stakeholders across Global Business Lines, Sales and Regional Marketing teams, as well as external suppliers for branding, PR, and creative development. You will be part of Fugro’s global Brand, Marketing & Communications team, working closely with colleagues across content, digital, PR and regional marketing.

Your role

Content Development & Execution

  • Create and manage high-quality content across digital and offline channels.

  • Ensure alignment with Fugro’s brand narrative, campaign objectives, and audience needs.

  • Support global and regional campaign execution with tailored content assets.

Campaign Support & Performance

  • Collaborate on campaign planning and execution to bring strategic content to life.

  • Use analytics to track content performance and optimise engagement.

  • Contribute to funnel optimisation by ensuring content drives measurable commercial impact.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify and shape impactful stories.

  • Ensure consistent messaging across business lines, regions, and platforms.

  • Support internal ambassador initiatives and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Marketing Enablement & Team Contribution

  • Actively contribute to Fugro’s marketing playbook and campaign best practices.

  • Collaborate with peers in PR, digital marketing, and employer branding to deliver integrated communications.

  • Help build a culture of storytelling and innovation across the Brand, Marketing & Communications function.

  • Execute agile marketing workflows by running short, iterative sprints that involve testing campaign ideas, measuring performance (e.g., ROI, MQLs), and continuously optimising based on data and customer feedback to deliver adaptive, customer-focused and results-driven marketing.

What you bring along

Education & Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field

  • Relevant certifications in digital marketing, content strategy, or analytics (preferred)

Professional Experience

  • Proven experience in content marketing, communications or digital media

  • Expert-level understanding of content development within technical or B2B environments

  • Management experience, with the ability to lead projects and collaborate across teams

  • Business to Business experience is required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong storytelling and editorial skills, with a strategic mindset

  • Proficiency in SEO/SEA, social media, creative development, and analytics tools

  • Demonstrated ability to create content that drives engagement and supports campaign goals

  • Experience working in international environments or with global teams

Language Proficiency

  • English: Proficient
