Job Description

Shape the future of global procurement at Fugro.

In this strategic leadership role, you will drive transformation across our worldwide procurement and supply chain function. Your mission: deliver cost competitiveness, operational excellence, and risk resilience through streamlined processes, strong governance, and digital innovation. This is your opportunity to make a measurable impact on Fugro’s performance and position procurement as a true business partner.

Your role

  • You deliver EBIT-impacting savings, process efficiencies, and risk reduction; monitor KPIs and OKRs;

  • You lead and develop the global procurement team, ensuring engagement, capability building, and high performance;

  • You standardise and automate Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes; implement digital tools and ERP solutions;

  • You develop and enforce global procurement policies; ensure compliance with internal controls and certifications;

  • You maintain a robust risk framework covering operational, financial, and compliance risks; conduct regular assessments;

  • You build strong partnerships across business lines and suppliers; foster collaboration and innovation.

Your track record

  • You have a MSc. in e.g. Supply Chain Management/Procurement & Logistics/Business Administration and relevant certifications (CIPS, NEVI, APICS);

  • You have matured 10+ years in international procurement and supply chain leadership, preferably in a listed, matrixed organisation;

  • You have expertise in risk management, process optimization, and digital transformation;

  • You are familiar with ERP systems (IFS preferred) and data analytics;

  • You are in the possession of strong leadership skills, are communicative, results-driven, culturally aware, and team-oriented.
