Job Description

The Permit Controller will be responsible for managing and coordinating all permitting activities related to Land. This role ensures that all necessary permits are obtained and maintained in compliance with local regulations and company policies. The Permit Controller will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth project operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Permit Management: Obtain, renew, and manage all necessary permits for onshore, nearshore site investigation projects.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations related to site investigations.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all permits, applications, and correspondence with regulatory authorities.

  • Coordination: Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely acquisition of permits.

  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on permit status and compliance to senior management.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential permitting issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

  • Training: Provide training and guidance to project teams on permitting requirements and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in permit management, preferably in the geotechnical or construction industry.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Saudi Arabian environmental and construction regulations.

  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Software: Proficiency in permit management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
