Job Description

The Mechanic in the Geotechnical Department is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment used in geotechnical investigations and projects. This role ensures that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on geotechnical equipment.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions.

  • Assist in the setup and calibration of equipment for field operations.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

  • 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in geotechnical or construction fields.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in various outdoor conditions.
