Job Description
For our office in Nootdorp, the Netherlands, we are looking for a colleague to join the Fugro Academy Technical Training Team.
In this critical role you design, develop and deliver of geophysics training courses and programs for training of new colleagues and for existing offshore and onshore Geophysicists and Seismic Operators.
Your role
You focus on delivering standardised training across Fugro on geophysical equipment, operations, software and interpretation;
You assist with the design, development, creation, delivery and maintenance of Geophysical e-learning modules, training courses and programs as part of the Fugro Academy Technical Training team;
You work closely with the Geotechnical Trainers, Data Processing and Charting Trainers and other trainers within the Fugro Academy team;
In close cooperation with local, regional and global Marine and Land Geophysical subject matter experts, you extract and format the technical information required to develop and update training courses;
You identify personal training needs and undertake continuing professional development in agreement with the Line Manager;
You occasionally travel globally to various Fugro offices to deliver trainings.
Your track record
You have a degree in a suitable discipline and previous working experience in a similar role;
Ideally you have experience as an offshore (Senior) Geophysicist;
You are in the possession of good skills with MS Office products, plus familiarity with MS Teams;
You are in the possession of excellent organisation skills, you are stress resistant and creative;
You have the ability to effectively communicate and have excellent language skills in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
