Job Title: NDT Technician Gr ||
Overview: We are seeking a skilled NDT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing methods to evaluate the integrity of materials and structures without causing damage.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle and dye penetrant testing.
Interpret and evaluate test results to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Prepare detailed reports of findings and maintain accurate records of inspections.
Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment and tools.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills/Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in NDT is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Certification in NDT methods (ASNT NDT Level II).
Strong understanding of NDT principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, ASME, API).
Proficiency in using NDT software and tools.
