The Talent Acquisition Lead - India will oversee and lead recruitment efforts across various departments within the organization. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the  Talent Acquisition Lead - India will be responsible for attracting, assessing, and selecting the best talent to support Fugro's mission and strategic objectives. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the organization has the right people in the right roles at the right time.

Key Result Area

Core Activities

  • Full cycle Recruitment:

Develop and implement recruitment strategies in collaboration with the Business team to meet the organization's hiring needs. Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for positions in India and the Global Resource Centre. This would include sourcing, screening, co-ordinating and conducting interviews , negotiating offers and closing positions.

  • Sourcing Channels:

Identify and engage top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and direct sourcing. Analyse the effectiveness of different sourcing channels, such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, etc. This helps in optimizing your sourcing strategy.

  • Diversity Hiring:

Track the percentage of hires from diverse backgrounds and monitor progress toward diversity and inclusion goals.

  • Compliance:

Ensure recruitment practices are in compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations in India and for the Global Resource Centre. This also includes maintaining all required recruitment related documentation.

  • Reporting and Metrics:

Establish and monitor recruitment KPIs and report on recruitment activities to management. Continuously optimize recruitment processes.

Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers and department heads, to understand staffing needs, priorities, and workforce planning. Build strong relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Onboarding:

Ensure seamless experience for new employees.

HSE Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPE’s Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so
