Job Description
Fugro is seeking a Client Deliverables Coordinator to join our Marine Asset Integrity department based in Nootdorp, the Netherlands. The department specializes in offshore Positioning, Survey Construction and IRM (Inspection, Repair and Maintenance) projects primarily across Europe and Africa.
As Client Deliverables Coordinator you are responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of the Client Deliverables Team (+/- 5 staff), ensuring final client deliverables including charts, reports and other digital data deliverables are produced in line with project and client requirements. In this role you liaise with Project Managers and Account Managers to stay informed about upcoming projects and associated client deliverable requirements for projects. You are not afraid to step in yourself and assist the team during peak loads.
Your role
You lead the team by example to maintain a culture of delivery excellence, uphold data management standards and ensure compliance of final client deliverables with Fugro Document Standard;
You drive knowledge transfer and cross training within the Client Deliverables team and offshore personnel and you are responsible for performance appraisal and personal development of assigned staff;
You assign personnel accordingly and ensure that they can meet the project processing, charting and reporting requirements;
You ensure proper procedures and work instructions are in place for data processing methodology and generation of the client deliverables;
You review, amend or update current procedures and work instructions on a regular basis and you secure that company software can meet future demands;
You secure a data management plan exists for each project before commencement of field work and deliverable submission deadlines are met;
You carry out quality checks on processed data and final client deliverables.
What you bring along
You have a MSc. or BSc. degree in surveying or related subject, e.g. Geomatics or Hydrography;
You have a minimum of 3-5 years’ offshore experience within the survey industry (e.g. deep-water field development operations, structure installations, spool piece metrology, ROV pipeline inspection surveys);
You have experience in leading a (small) team and the ability to reliably assess skills and confidence levels of assigned staff;
You are familiar with a wide range of geospatial data processing and charting software, e.g. Fugro’s Starfix Processing Suite (NG Charting), and ideally you have advanced experience using ArcGIS and EIVA software solutions;
You have experience and affinity with report writing and document standards;
You have good communication and language skills in English (written and spoken);
You are flexible, stress resistant and you have a hands-on approach with a drive to achieve delivery excellence.
