  • You liaise with the design team to review, advice and consult on practical and safety related aspects of the design;

  • You are responsible for electrical wiring diagrams, electrical safety and design of convertors, motor control and you complete technical upgrades and technical manuals;

  • You are in the lead during the execution of acceptance testing and validation and play an active role in field pilot projects;

  • You interact with the operations department on issues occurred in the field;

  • You are part of the innovation 3rd line support where you solve complex issues related to both hardware and software and are the point of contact for the electrical side of the products.

Your track record

  • You have a BSc. degree or higher in Electrical Engineering;

  • You are familiar with norms for electrical safety e.g., EN61010 and EN60945;

  • You have experience with PLCs, designing control cabinets and feel comfortable working on low to high power converters and motors.

  • Experience in a maritime / offshore environment is a pre;

  • You are fluent in English (both written and spoken);

  • You have a self-driven attitude, practical mindset and you are keen in developing new skills.

What Fugro offers

  • A competitive salary;

  • 29 holidays per year based on a fulltime employment (of which 4 are appointed by Fugro management) and the possibility to purchase 12 additional days;

  • Extensive career & training opportunities both nationally and internationally;

  • Flexible working hours and the ability to work from home in accordance with your manager and corporate policies;

  • Commuting allowance;
