We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team in North East Asia. As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our business objectives and IT solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and propose effective technology solutions that drive our organization's success.

Terms:

The IT Business Analyst position is a one-year contract assignment, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent staff role based on the actual business needs. The contract duration allows for an initial assessment of the position's long-term viability within the organization. The decision to convert the contract position to a permanent staff role will be determined by a thorough evaluation of the business requirements and the successful performance of the incumbent.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for IT projects.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the organization's business goals, processes, and strategies.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
• Work closely with software developers, designers, and other IT professionals to ensure successful implementation of IT solutions.
• Perform gap analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assist in the evaluation and selection of third-party software solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user manuals.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in IT business analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in the IT industry.
• 3-8 years demonstrated experience in Enterprise Applications and project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and project management processes.
• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting gap analysis, and creating functional specifications.
• Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and database concepts.
