The role

As a Field Service Technician you will be responsible for providing technical operations support to Fugro Tooling projects onshore, offshore, and worldwide.

In this role you’ll service and maintain all ROV tooling, preparing tooling for subsea operations as well as operating and maintaining tooling during offshore deployment. Working side by side with your team and the Crewing Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to coordinate with Fugro Tooling project teams and ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

• Provide accurate reports and ECNs and submit to the Aftermarket department on a timely basis.

• Liaise with and report back to the team regarding operational and company issues.

• Maintain efficient, sustainable, planned methods to all activities.

• Coordinate with Fugro Tooling project teams and provide assistance to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

• Responsible for dealing direct with Fugro client’s to execute Project work

Who we’re looking for:

• Thorough working knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems as applied to ROV intervention and tooling.

• Basic electrical competency and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to build, maintain and troubleshoot tooling equipment, working from assembly drawings and schematics.

• Ability to write Field Service / Daily Reports, and complete other documentation as necessary.

• Excellent planning and organising skills.

• Must be a team player who shows commitment to meeting all targets and deadlines.

• Personable character able to work well with clients, superiors, peers, and colleagues.

• Ability to work unsupervised, and to represent Fugro Tooling to Clients and other associated companies.

• Work both onshore and offshore, domestically and/or internationally, as required.
