Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Manage employee benefit administration (i.e. medical, dental and optical)
Handle insurances and work injury claim matters.
Collate work reports, time sheets, allowances, overtime, etc for payroll processing monthly.
Prepare monthly headcount reports to QHSSE department.
Process work pass applications, renewal & cancellations and liaise with the Ministry of Manpower for work pass-related issues.
Monitoring of employees’ employment contract expiry, permit expiry and confirmation due date.
Liaise with government agencies on all HR related matters
Provide support for MOM Employee related surveys
Attend to staff’s enquiries regarding their employment matters (staffing matters)
Assist with employee relations issues in a confidential manner, including disciplinary and employee grievances.
Ensure that current HR practices are in compliance with all government regulations and advising management on needed actions.
Any ad hoc duties as and when assigned by Management.
Qualifications & Work Experience
Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of Human Resources exposure preferably gained from sizable company.
Experience in handling full spectrum of HR & administrative roles, preferably in marine industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Familiar with Workday system is an advantage
Familiar with Singapore Labour Law & Employment Act
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Organized and Meticulous
Able to work independently
Mature, presentable, stable and professional with good problem solving and communication skills
