Fugro is the world’s leading Geo-data specialist, collecting and analysing comprehensive information about the Earth and the structures build upon it. Our purpose is to create a safe and liveable world. To deliver this mission, our hydrographic and coastal resilience teams conduct accurate and efficient hydrographic surveys for nautical charting, route surveys and bathymetry for coastal zone management using an integrated solution consisting of remote sensing, lidar and acoustic sensor technology.

Our hydrographic survey team, is growing and we are currently seeking expressions of interest from all levels of Hydrographic Surveyors to join our established Survey team in Adelaide (preference) Perth or Brisbane. Reporting to our Survey Manager, you will work with a dedicated team of professionals and will have the opportunity  to take your career around the world.

What we are looking for

  • Hydrographic Surveyors with Level 1 or Level 2 Certification

  • Hold (or able to complete) Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training course;

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision;

  • Good oral and written communication skills; and

  • Willingness to work offshore for periods of time, up to 4-6x week rotation for the Hydrographic Surveying role. Ability/flexibility to chose dates and times that work around customer demands and personal life for balance.
