The role

Based in our Falmouth Hub, due to new opportunities and growth, we are seeking a qualified engineer. The Project Engineer role will consist of you assisting projects across the UK business, particularly the exciting new opportunity to assist in the preparation and delivery of our New Build Manufacturing projects, which includes our world leading geotechnical drills and equipment that aid our vessels to acquire data for our clients.  You will assist to ensure that the high-quality deliverables our client requires are achieved, checked, and recorded. In these innovative projects you will be assisting the Project Manager and Supervisors, adhering to H & S standards set by fugro and clients, planning and scheduling tasks to be completed, troubleshooting and attending/chairing meetings, recording minutes to enable efficient and safe operations

Who we’re looking for:

• You have the drive and motivation to problem solve issues and challenges, in strategic and reactive situations.

• You are an engineer with the passion to work on projects prior to manufacturing and a good eye for detail when it comes to QA.

• You have excellent commercial/technical awareness

• Have the ability and resilience to multi-task and hit challenging deadlines.

• You are approachable and adaptable to working in teams and liaising with external and internal stakeholders.

• You have a good competence level to use a variety of IT tools to support your daily role.
