Fugro’s SEAWATCH® Wind Lidar Buoy has achieved the highest commercial maturity rating, Stage 3, in accordance with the Carbon Trust Roadmap for the Commercial Acceptance of floating LiDAR technology.
Fugro has completed a contract for Nexans to provide remotely operated vehicle (ROV) survey and monitoring support services to lay the North Sea Link cable through a mountain and along a lakebed in Norway.
Fugro has begun a pre-installation and route engineering survey project to support their client, Xtera, on NO-UK’s major fibre-optic cable installation between Norway and the UK.
The Norwegian Hydrographic Service has awarded Fugro another hydrographic survey contract as part of the MAREANO seabed mapping programme, financed by Norway’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, and the Ministry of Environment.
Fugro has won a long-term contract for the provision of rig positioning services to Statoil Petroleum AS. The contract includes positioning of all the Statoil operated rigs on the Norwegian continental shelf together with the company’s associated vessels.
The largest road project in Norway’s history has seen Fugro win a second major contract from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA).
