Fugro offers a range of special services such as the FLI-MAP® (Fast Laser Imaging and Mapping Airborne Platform). The FLI- MAP system is mounted underneath a helicopter and is ideally suited for surveying long elongated corridors e.g. railroad tracks, electricity lines, highways, pipelines and embankments. The helicopter can easily access remote or dangerous locations without endangering survey crews. Using specialised in-house developed data processing software the acquired data can be used and re-used in innumerable applications.

• Collecting up to 21,000 x,y,z, datapoints per second
• Mapping of up to 150 line km a day
• Capturing highly accurate 3-d geometry of a wide variety of objects
• Downward and forward looking photo and video cameras
