Fugro operates a number of dedicated fixed wing aircraft equipped with sophisticated cameras for aerial photography. The photographic imagery is processed in-house and can be used for a variety of applications including photogrammetry and photo mosaics or scanned as a basis for digital mapping. Softcopy photogrammetry uses fully digital (pixel based) images to produce plans, ortho-images and digital 3-D data using PC based technology for improved speed and economy.
