The Starfix Suite contains two charting utilities, Starfix.Chart and Starfix.Achart that allow auto generation of all the standard survey chart types. The applications use MicroStation (Chart) and AutoCAD (AChart) as the basis for their approach, allowing all the features supported by the two industry standard CAD applications to be utilised by Fugro data processors & cartographers to produce the best possible charts. Data is loaded from proprietary processing files created by the Starfix Processing Suite and/or ODBC compliant relational database used by Starfix.Edit.

The data is then automatically formatted into the panel types requested by the operator, with minimal effort being the key principal. Legendary information is then added to produce the final client deliverable.

By using AutoCAD and Microstation, it is possible to export the files to a wide variety of formats to meet ever changing client demands.
