Aerial Mapping
Operating a large fleet of aircraft equipped with state-of-the-art airborne mapping sensors,
Fugro’s airborne mapping capabilities serve a wide range of natural resources management, urban planning,
economic development, defense, environmental, and engineering activities. Film- and digital-based mapping
cameras are used for acquisition of high resolution airborne imagery, while lidar and interferometric radar are
used for efficient production of high accuracy 3D elevation data. Fugro also deploys other airborne remote sensing
technologies for thermal and hyperspectral imaging.
