Abstract:
​Cyclic stability diagrams are a useful tool for the preliminary assessment of the effects of cyclic loading on the pile behavior. This paper presents cyclic stability diagrams obtained from various experimental sources: in situ tests on actual piles, laboratory tests on model piles in a large calibration chamber and model piles in a centrifuge. Driven piles in tension and bored piles in compression are discussed.
