Fugro provides the broadest integrated suite of highly mobile onshore and nearshore geophysical services in the energy and civil construction sectors for investigating the ground and the built environment. As a leading international geoscience company, Fugro provides a comprehensive range of engineering and environmental geophysical information from the subsurface from depths of less than 1 to more than 1000 m.

Surface geophysics capability includes gravity, electrical, magnetic, electromagnetic, and seismic techniques (reflection, refraction, surface wave) to help form a better understanding of the subsurface for applications such as cavity distribution for pile planning, ground stiffness for foundation design and structural imaging for seismic risk evaluation.

Engineering geophysics is applied to the built environment using high resolution ground penetrating radar and ultrasonic methods to determine construction and condition. Fugro borehole services include the measurement of elastic, hydraulic and other physical properties through a range of borehole seismic and wireline logging techniques. Engineering geophysical information can be fully integrated with intrusive and other site data to provide Client benefit in terms of lower risk and reduced developmental costs.
