Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) are tethered underwater vehicles equipped with video cameras, sonars, pipe-trackers and navigation and positioning sensors. ROVs inspect pipelines and other subsea equipment where divers cannot operate whilst manipulators and intervention tools enable them to carry out maintenance at depths as great as 3,000 metres.
- Exploration drilling support: During exploration, completions and work-over operations
- Inspection projects: For pipeline surveys and platform & subsea structures inspections
- Construction support: For subsea infrastructure installation, spool-piece metrology, suction anchor installation and remote tie-ins
We design, build, own and operate a large fleet of work and observation-class ROV systems. These systems are operated from our strategically located bases around the world and are equipped to support your drilling campaigns and subsea construction projects.
Our ROVs utilise the best-in-class system components and our global approach ensures that critical long lead spares are stocked regionally. Our global ROV helpline provides 24-hour support to our offshore teams and ensures that updated information is quickly relayed to all our ROV teams.
Fugro Work class FCV ROVs are part of an evolving system design that support and exceed the demands of deep water operations. All ROVs are design and build in-house using our extensive subsea knowledge and experience.
